Mean illness? Usually not as a lot of keepers feed tilapia. It’s frozen and meant to be cooked. Let me echo what rd said about freezing. There’s always a risk, though low.

It's been over 14days since I purchased him... very active but don't seem interested in eating tho...

Get it interested or the tankmates will bully it to death. Judging by the picture it seems to be internal parasites. Try garlic soaked food with metro.

Actually he ate some krill yesterday. So I guess he's just a picky eater...
