So I have a 52gal hex front running a emperor 400 and a kicker for extra bio, pretty sure I'm good on stock but want to make sure I haven't overdone it. If so I have extra tanks to set up, wanting to anyway.
Current stock
2 moonlight gourami-3"
2 botia loaches-2.5"
1 tiger loach-2.5"
1 gold dojo loach-3"
1 snakeskin gourami-3"
1 opaline gourami-2"
2 gbm bubble body-1.5"
6 glass catfish-1.5-2.5"
1 peters elephant nose-3"
1 bamboo shrimp-2.5"
I've been out of the hobby for a couple of years and finally back in it so I'm consulting the experts. Thanks in advance!

I have a 54 corner tank with a very similar stock list, all Gourami's, with a single Emperor 400, and it has been flawless for the past 8 months. I do weekly 30% water changes and total stock is 8 Gourami's, and it seems perfect, if that is possible.
 
Yeah I can't run my tanks without gourami, some of my favorite fish. Which ones do you keep.
I'm doing 30-40% weekly now because I didn't let all the tannis leak from my driftwood but usually only do 10-20% and I've never had any water quality problems

I have 5 gouramis in my 250 gallon. 4 are less than 3" while one is over 20". It is planted as well.
