I woke up this morning with one less CL. It was one of the smaller ones too. I've noticed my bichir slowly rise up to the level of the fish and nip at 'em. He nipped a 6" parrot the other day. When I noticed the CL missing I knew it was him. So, I like my CL's alot...time for the Senegal to move on...we'll see. I later found the CL chomped and shredded. Like it was attempted to be swallowed and spit back out.
ANY SIMILAR STORIES ?????

Oh yea... I have a 4'' Delhezi that attacks my Cory cats and leaves them when he figures out he can't swallow them. He's too small for my other tank, but I hate that he's killing my cories (love the little boogers). So till he grows a bit more they are just gonna hafta fend for themselves...

Actually posted my bichir for sale....

This is why I haven't thrown a bichir in my 125 gallon. I REALLY want an ornate, but I like my little fish. Maybe when they grow out.

Yeah...if I didn't love my two sen's so much I'd just about regret ever getting them. I would like to be able to stock a bunch of dither fish in my 65, but for now its just the two sen's and a jack dempsey. Not sure what else I'm gonna be able to put in there, its to the point that I'm almost resigned to just having those 3 fish and thats that.

So far though the dempsey is the only one showing any aggression at all. When I had them all in the 20 with my pleco they sen's never went after anything, but the dempsey was nipping at everybody. I haven't seen him do anything since I moved those 3 to the 65 though, so I think he's ok now that he's has some more space.

(the sen's are 3" and 4" and I'd say the jack is 2-3" probably. The pleco is still like 1")
