Tank divider fell over and all the fish were together. Seem fine for now but what do you guys think? How big if a size difference have you been successful with?

Idk....I wouldn't risk it.....so you kept that kel huh?

If you do try it, keep the big ones WELL fed.

I recently grew out a couple small about 2.5 inch pbass with my 8 inch red wolf and similarly sized bichirs, id say size difference is about the same, and my red snagged the smaller bass and gave it life ending wounds. Other one is fine and at about 4 inch now. So like the other guy said, 50/50 is probably your best bet. If you plan to keep it that way maybe add some more target fish?

That was my first thought, make sure they aren't hungery. Luckily bass don't have teeth to injur the little ones if they get nippy. Just added some red hooks that are about the same size (figured they'd get most of the attention given they are shinny). May add some more though.

Think I may give it a try for a few days.... will keep you guys updated
