I'm planning on putting 120 pot scrubbers in a DIY sump which will be supporting about 50 gallons of fw....I'm building the sump big enough to support my 75 fw and just incase I want to turn the 75 to sw after I get out of college. I will be posting pictures of my DIY sump after I finish a couple things up on it. I just built the drip plate last night and am wondering if anyone can tell me how big of holes I need and about how many. Thanks.

120 pot scrubbers will be plenty. 3/8" holes will work spaced out about a inch apart.

Damn! i got about 45 pot scrubbers going into my 33 gallon diy sump/wet-dry. and that will be on my 75gallon. Holy hell your water is gona be crystal clear lmao.

I know, but I am stick of running 3 filters on a tank just to keep my tank clean. I figure this filter should do the trick! I'm planning to put a "small" fw ray in there with my 5 3inch clown loaches. Should be sweet looking and the sump will allow lots of room in the tank for the fish, plus add water volume to the system. I still need 13 more packages of pot scrubbers from the $1 store...

bio filters dont keep the water polished though. it allows you a larger # of fish without your water params goin crazy. Clean looking water needs fine and wide open pore foam. Spend your money on that bc 150 scrubbies isnt goin to do that.

Don't worry, I engineered room for some to lie on the drip plate and also underneath the pot scrubbers. I have grown up my whole life with aquariums in the house. I know there are three parts to filtration, even though chemical filtration is a joke unless you are removing meds...
