i have done a similar theread but i can't find it....could a s.a. lung go with tsns? if i remeber right it was yes...now on to the new stuff...could i do this as a grow out for the lung to get to size for the tsn combo...start- 20gal- tankmates- peacok eel, spotted raphael, gn pleco, beta, dwarf gouramis, mollies, neons....next step...55gal- tankmates- angels, severum, a few african chilids, 3 sen bichirs, ropefish, clown knife, 2 bgks...."final" step...180gal- tankmates- silver aro, florida gar, oscars, jd, tsns, red belly pacu...would it work and at what size should the moves be done at? the cats are 12-14" now...i have final in "" cause i will have a diff. long term set up for the cats and some others....simonl i think you might remember the other post, i belive you answered alot on that one, but this one is more "indepth"

sorry for the long list but i want to be sure before i get it...thanx and a got size to price ratio would be apritated cause as much as i like to raise fish from small if i can skip a few steps i might concider getting a larger one thanx again

as for the 180gal most tankmates would end up in a bigger set up later...my main thought would be the cats...what size should the sa lung be before introduction with the cats? any size to prices ratios? sorry for the late post i have been deer hunting so i couldn't get on...

In the 55 id watch out for the lung eating some smaller fish like mollies and neons. besides that, its good to go but in the 180 watch the jack dempsey their known to be nasty lil fin nippers. good luck.

I have 2 S.A Lungies (lungfish babies thats what I call baby lungfish) living with tinfoil barb, bala shark, Thin bar datnoid, Red breasted tilpia, and a fire eel with no problems. S.A lungfish are peacuful.
