I've used their current pumps and inline heaters with no complaints. Lost a bushing off one of my current pumps so I emailed them asking how to buy a new one place a spare and they sent 2 new covers with bushings free of charge and on my doorstep in under a week. Never new they made filters until the last year or so, not sure if its a new product for them or not.

I question the FX really being dead. The motor is simply an electro magnet. If you think your motor is dead, I would makes sure you don't have the impeller sticking on sand or something.

@doomiede what size tank do you have that on? That's not a bad price for a filter that size.

I had it on a 150 till I had to sell the tank cause my landlord thought it was "too big". It worked great even with a bigger tank then it's rated for. I've been thinking of swapping out my two HOBS on my 75 with it

@doomidee I think I may have to give that a try. Add it in addition to my hobs. Maybe turn most of them into pothos nitrate filters lol
