Thinkin of getting a controller...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can also try a ReefKeeper Elite Aquarium Controller. I have read many good reviews about them.
I find that my GHL profilux Plus works wonders. But the single cable back to the controller of the RKE seems a better approach.

Howdy,

Do your water parameters fluctuate so much that you need a controller? I have a drip system, and my tank always equals tap water parameters. No need to worry about pH or other chemistry. And my heaters are Jaeger, they've never let me down in over two decades of fishkeeping.

I guess it all depends on what you need the controller for

That's a nice feature indeed
It'd require your computer to have power when the power goes out, though. And if you have internet thru cable, the cable modem would need power as well. UPS anyone :D? That's what I have as backups for my filters.

Best of luck,
Please post when you got it all hooked up!
