thinking about breeding my FH

ok i have a 55 gallon and im thinking about breeding my Flowerhorn. He's about 8 and a half inches. i dont want to buy another tank so if i seperate the tank will it be enough room for him. i just need some opinions. and if the majority of hte post says yes itll work ill go buy a female if it doesnt then i wont. Well to be honest a 55g isnt even enough for 1 FH let alone a breeding pair... I use 120g and that still seems to be too small... My males get shredded when breeding and they have more than 2 times the room u intend on giving... If u wanna try it go ahead but fair warning u may loose a fish... Good luck bro.

i breed mines in a 30g and they are fine. after breeding i got the parent back into my 90g
