Idk but it does look like a Brachyplatystoma species...maybe Brachyplatystoma Filamentosum, not sure though

Just looked up some filamentosum juvenile pics and they seem to be spotted with a red tail. This ones looks like it has vertical stripes and possibly some red on the tail. So far can't come up with a positive ID and I wanna be sure that I can house it and take care of it properly before buying. Would hate to kill the fish because of lack of info.

Pariaba wont have stripes,and its should just be grey with the white belly. Babys would have dots but im no expert....just my op. I still want to buy it lol
