I have a 6' long 120G with
8" gold severum
5" green severum
4 clown loaches (3-5"s)
12 black skirt tetras
12 red tail rasboras
1 4" Firemouth cichlid
1 7" Jurapari
1 8" Pleco

I also have a 4" long 90G with
1 6" Jack Dempsey
3 Firemouths (2 are 4" and 1 Juvie)
3 Salivini's (2 Juvies and 1 4")
10 Black skirt tetras for dithers
1 9" Pleco

Was thinking of changing the 120G to a central american tank with Jack, FM'S, Pleco, Salvini's and maybe adding a nicaraguensis.

I would then move the loahes and severums etc to the 90G. Would that be way overstocked?

Could severums live in a CA tank with Jacks and FM's?

Should i leave setup alone? Both tanks are relatively peaceful

OMG! your 90 gal is only 4 inches long!!!! haha j/k
my sev lives with a jag...he is a very very peaceful jag tho...quite uncommon. i would do the ca tank...but thats just me.

If it's working out well then you should probabaly leave it as is.

Variety is the spice of life... change things up a bit to keep the hobby fresh...

There are great reasons to do either... and since neither is "wrong"... do whatever makes you a happier fish keeper...

yeah i would just go with your conventional trial and error see what works and keep what makes you happy
