I am debating on adding an armatus to my tank but I am a little unsure on if I should or not. My tank is a 6'x4'x20". Although my water is well, my PH is at a constant 7.

Tank mates will be a 13" Vittatus Tiger Fish and 13" Indo Pacific Tarpon and about 8500 gph of current.

The Armatus that I am going to get is about 9" and eats only live feeders. Would it be a good idea to add an armatus at that size with consideration to my vatf?

Also I want to get it on frozen food asap. How hard are armatus to get off live? My tank has a lot of current so food goes flying everywhere when I cut it.

Thanks in advance.

My armatus was pretty aggressive to anything shiny or silvery. He even beat up a Florida gar that was bigger than him. He almost killed a indo pacific tarpon about 7 inches he was 8.5 ish. Punctured it right under its pectoral fin. And slashed it up a bunch too. He was probably a overly aggressive one tho since he even slashed a bichir that was longer than him in the face. I haven't kept a ATF yet but I have a friend that has a huge armatus with a big indo tarpon and a bunch of kois too it's really dope tank
