I've been thinking about getting one but I don't know what one I want right now it's between a spilo sanchezi or a manueli and the tank it would be in is a 75 gallon any input and suggestions are welcome

I don't know if this is your first piranha but if it is you should know they are not very active and the majority aren't aggressive either. Either of the ones you picked would be good. The spilo or sanchezi would be good in that tank for life. The sanchezi grows to about 6" and the spilo depending spieces grows between 6" and 12" The manueli is a slow grower and would be good the 75 for for a couple years at least, depending on the size at the time of purchase. They grow to 24" in the wild but you dont see many larger than 12" in aquaria. Manueli are said to be more sensative to water conditions. You should take a look at rhoms. A rhom could live in a 75 for a long period of time depending at what size you bought it.

Serras can be shy and hide all the time or they can be really aggressive. It all depends on the individual fish. I would choose a Mac or spilo. I like yellow or yellow red colors and they tend to be a bigger bodied fish than sanchezi and can live in the 75 for life. If you go manueli or rhom you would have to upgrade to at least a 120 in probably 5 years or so depending on the size at purchase.

Gibbus are awfully rare and expensive, spilos are prettier too :)

I think the gibbus is still technically considered a rhom.

Two totally different fish. The Gibbus is hard to find but the one I had was easily one of the most active fish I have owned. I have kept a very wide variety of Piranha.. the G's are freakin nice! If you can find one lol
The Spilo was a good option for ya and the manny are picky fish, costly too.. maybe not such a good call.. temp, ph, or toxins change in the tank.. ever so little.. the manny will probably die..

Gibbus can be found at aquascapeonline, or if you live near Belleville nj you could drive there. I think they're out of stock, but you could special order one.

Yeah I have seen them. Their Gibbus look nothing like any Gibbus (including mine) that I have ever seen. For that reason I never got one lol
