He is still small and will come with his 20 gallon setup if wanted. He is very skiddish and opens his mouth alot when i put my hand in the tank. I'm trying to train him but i feel that i dont have enough time for him. What would you sell a 8 inch beared dragon for with or without tank setup?

pictures might help, also, look around on your local craigslist and see if anyone has one up for sale there and see what they are selling him for. You can also check kingsnake.com to see what the breeders are selling them for.

I known around here without a setup you'd get about $50 for a small female wild type but you'd be lucky to get 10-20 for a male males come up often here for free . To many people brought them for there kids from 05-07 and then the US bobble burst and 1/2 the country can afford a house right now let a lone a lizard setup that sucks as much juice as a refrigerator

I would say only about $30 unfortunately because for one you are not a pet store so you can't rewally sell him for what they are selling them for and for two, his coloration is nothing special. I would advise you to keep him if you can because i bet you won't get what you put into him back unless you keep him as a pet and can get that reward of taking care of him...

:iagree: but you could also consider giving it to a younger kid who otherwise may not get to experience the reptile hobby . That maybe more rewarding to you then the $30.
I give away half the baby corns I try to sell each year to my daughters friends from school and other neighborhood children it is worth it to get the next generation hooked early

I agree with everybodys posts regarding this beardies worth. Unfortunately he really isnt worth anything not only because hes not a morph but also because the reptile hobby is fallen out quite a bit. I will however say i saw a beardie on craigslist recently for $200, couldnt tell you if it got sold or not. I had a full grown female for about 3 years and decided one day the she would be more enjoyed by elsewhere, with some hesitance i donated her to a high school in my home town
