I have a 40b with 1 female pseudotropheus saulosi, 1 yellow marbled squeaker catfish and 2 blackberry silver dollars that I’m growing out for another tank. The tank was all saulosi but now that I’m down to one I want to start thinking about what’s next and shellies may be the answer. I’m going to read further into them but have a couple of questions. The saulosi is 3-5 years old so I don’t really expect her to be around too much longer, should I wait until she’s gone before adding shellies? What about the catfish and silver dollars? How many shellies would be good in a 40b? Would a calvus or compricemps be a good centerpiece fish? Thanks
