Ive got a 09 Columibia Rainbow boa at the moment in a RUB, but im thinking about getting an Exo-terra vivarium like the ones in the Link - http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/glass_terrarium.php. Im thinking about sectioning off an area along the front and filling that with water so he can bathe etc and having a mossey or peat substrate with some nice, roots/vines and plants aswell.

I imagine it would suit his needs well as i can have it humid, but it also has good ventilation, what size would you reccomend? Im Just wantng to know if this would be an ok setup.

I probs wouldnt be able to get it untill closer to xmas i havent got a job atm and going on holiday next month so saving up for that etc but i should hopefully have enough soon.

Does anybody have a similar setup with pix which they would like to share?

I have not heard anything bad about those enclosures but I think if you go that route that you will need to pick really hardy plants. Boa's are not easy on their enclosures and like to rearrange things.

hope this will help i dont know anything about snakes, iould like to have a cornsnake but the wifey disagrees...
Very nice they use a lot of these vivs at my college and i really like them just wondering if it were appropiate for my snake really lol.

I don't have long term experience with them, but i'm not sure they would be strong enough for a strong snake.
