I know that snakeheads have a special breathing system that permits them to breath atmospheric air,So I would just like to ask if it is a big plus if I'm gonna put an airpump in my aquarium for an aeration?

they dont need additional aeration like some fish do,just as long as you have sufficient bio filtration and a tight fitting cover glass to stop escapes and so that the air they breathe is warm

in my experience it wont make any difference to your snakeheads although it wouldn't hurt i guess
