So ive been wanting to do a custom tank for various live food (comets an ghost shrimp possible crays as well).

So here my idea frames for a standard 55 gal, 1/4 acrylic. only difference is that itll only be 12" high with 1 maybe 2 dividers.

48" long with 2 dividers or braces will work, but w/o them it will bow too much.

Just wanting to try your hand at it for the experience? otherwise price it out first, used 55g tanks are usually cheap (50 cents ot a dollar a gallon if your lucky). And you can silicone divider in too.
Remember you need a warm, well ventilated area to work in (could be a problem in your area right now ;))

If it's for the DIY thing, go for it... pieces this size are easier to work with than a full size tank.

Its a lil for the experiance, I thought of doing Plywood but with the cost of the epoxy paint I could just buy a tank. an unless I can find a 40 - 55 gal acrylic tank used an thus cheap, this is a reasonable alternative.
