So I'm thinking of doing a 6x2x2 plywood tank, I've never done one before so I'm looking for some advice from some experienced builders. One major problem I see in threads is the leaks of tanks and personally I see the leaks coming from the plywood you use. Has anyone ever thought or spending the extra money and using finished plywood instead of your typical sheets? What's your basic material and process?

sorry its off topic but for such a standard dimension wouldn't it be cheaper, less time consuming, and easier and you wouldn't have to worry about leaks as much if you just buy a glass one? I'm sure there are tons and for cheap since you live in the usa. Here a 180 is only like $500 new

The leaks are not really coming from the plywood but are coming from the joints. As long as you frame the tank strong enough so it doesn't flex regular plywood should be fine. Don't frame it strong enough and it will bow stressing a corner or joint to the point it will pop and start leaking.
