thinking of a dwarf puffer info needed

I have an urge for a dwarf puffer for a desk top aquarium 10g and remember coming across something about fresh water dwarfs but i cant recall if there is such a thing and if they really are brackish ..
I could use any help here on species and set up requirements and are brackish tanks hard to maintain..

yup yup yup, give them some fake plants and some bloodworms, brine shrimp, mysis, and little tiny snails and they will be happy little fish

we got them at the stillwater petco, i think they are around 5 bucks. cute little guys.
