I currently have a massive mixed cichlid breeding project going on in my tank 135. Do to the over crowding the water as of late is far from what it needs to be. Fishy are fine but it just doesn't look like it used to. I current have the below filters running.

Marineland Emperor 400 - hob
Jebo 838 - canister
whisper 40 - hob
whisper 40i - hob

What would you guys reccomend?

get rid of the two whisper 40's and add a AC110

Why not leave them there, and still add the ac110?

The more the merrier! :D

FX5 would also solve all your problems without ever looking at an hob again.

Stocking ...... Man
1 Oscar about 7 to 8 inches
1 Hybred Texas 7 to 8 inches
2 Hybred Texas 3 to 5 inches
2 Cubans 5 inches each
2 Parrots 3 1/2 inches
1 flowerhorn 3 inches
2 Freddies 3 to 4 inches each
1 crawdad about 3 inchs
2 pleco's ranging from 3 to 7 inches

Weekly water changes, feeding on Pellets, dried shrimp and blood worms

Wow, interesting stocking...Does the FH have another home?

You need some big current to keep the tank clean with that stocking. I'd suggest a couple FX5's and a couple AC110s. You are going to be in trouble soon as they all get bigger.

No the flowerhorn not yet. The Flowerhorn is not a threat at all. One of the smallest fish in the tank and gets bullied by all the others. Actually would like to rehome him or her.

Get rid of the oscar, it can't breed with those fish anyway.

You'll have trouble down the road with those fish, either way, add an fx5 and put the whispers on a different tank.
