Hi guys, I love theese little guys but i dont know anything about them, and everything i find on google is of no help, I'm wondering how agressive they are, they look like they could be mean :D

I want to put them in my 100Gal tank with

x1 silver arowana 7in.
x2 Black ghost knives about 5in.
x1 Bristlenose pleco

And a few that im looking after for a friend for the next few weeks,

x4 Tinfoil Barbs 4-5in
x1 Opaline gourami 3.5in

Is there any reason i shouldnt? Thanks for any advice guys :]

Tank is 60x18x20

A good first bichir for beginners with these fishes are the palmas, relatively small (12", 10" the subspecies pollii) and interesting-but not too lively! You can keep one ot two pollii in your tank-but you should increase the tank. If you want somenthing of bigger (if you've a twice-long and wide tank, you can try with ornate bichir (15-20" in aquarium)-more lively but not aggressive.

do you already have the 2 ghosts in together? that usually doesn't work, but cool if it does. I would watch the tiger barbs as they can be nippy. The plec could become food for the aro since they don't get very big and could start eating the slime coat off of the bichir. As said, the tank won't be large enough for a single silver aro for too long.

thanks guys =D im on the lookout for a larger tank already, theres a guy local who is selling a 300 gal acrylic for 1300$ i just gotta come up with the money.

but yea the tinfoils will be gone soon and i think i might just give him the pleco cause i dont really like him anyway.

oh, crap, i'm sorry, i misread and thought you had tiger barbs. the tins won't bother anything, they just get rather large

Keep an eye on the ghosts at night they might start fighting, if not maybe you have a pair? Are the head shapes exactly alike, the longer horse nose is the male and the rounder nose is the female!

In this case, you can keep one/two ornatipinnis (they are very funny, and not so timid!), or maybe a senegalus. Good luck!:)
