I think this is a great looking flowerhorn. Good size kok and color. I've spent a lot on this hobby, just like other hobbies, with no regrets. I'd rationalize he's around $200 + transhipping, and already here in our water. With that said, that's a lot if coin but Ultimately it's your choice on what you feel comfortable owning/spending and this guys not a run of the mill lfs flowerhorn. GL

Try to get him to lower the price.he's a nice guy but selling locally usually doesnt demand the high price it does when its from Thailand.looks like a lakefishex sps and one with good potential.goodluck

think quality wise its good, but its best to bargain with the LFS. I always do, there seems to be a lot of potential for it.
 
I got my SRD for $90 for a local guy, he started with $200. I've been happy since then. I think my SRD is worth more than $200. So, if you like it, don't hurt to try, or you can get mad at yourself later when he is no longer available (could be in my tank)
 
I haggled an lfs guy to give me a 1ft endii (was being sold for $150) for $35
If the guy is nice you can defenitely get lower than $200
