im thinking to get a rtc.

my current stock :
pbass (mono/azul/kelberi/temnesis) , aro, oscar, oxydoras niger, golden dorado, endli bichir.

what do you say? will the combo works in the long term?

currently building a 5000 gal outdoor tank.

No it won't work long term. You'll end up with a 5000g tank and two catfish.

The RTC will eat the majority of the other fish you listed probably within the first year excluding the Oxydoras. I've seen 7" growth in a single month from RTC and averages of 3-4" if fed often which means it will overtake your other fish in size and then you end up with expensive feeders...

Agreed. The RTC will feed on your stock and will likely finish them off, some sooner, others later.

Only O. niger stands a chance.

True...they will...i have one with a couple sailplecos and a imperial pleco...hes doing well with plecos but other fish they will become dinner.
