This is a cory breeding tank that I let overgrow with Hygrophilia, java moss, and duckweed.

The plants keep the nutrients down on the water is crystal clear.
The tank has 2 species of cory, 4 different pleco, and an out of control population of shrimp.

I was trimmin the weed.

which pic do you want to remove, for future reference you need to open manage attachments and select the pic and chose delete.

dude that tank rules!! what lighting do you use??? I need some duckweed and such to help my water condition too! Awesome tank again!!

PS if u dont like the shrimp, sell em on here or around your LFS for whatever u can get, or just get another tank setup u can feed the shrimp to.

No worries. I didn't mean to attach the two of the plecos and was going to switch one out.

DON"T ADD DUCKWEED. You'll never get rid of it. I use Hygrophila to keep the nutrients down and Java moss plus some others for the spawning and rearing.

The lighting is 1 96 watt sub compact. The other bulb burned out.

I like the shrimp tank but they have over populated. They are great scavengers and i like the looks of the cherry Reds and CRS. The shrimp get fed to cichlids some times, usually babies.

Thanks for the kind comments.

It has a sub compact with two 96watt bulbs in it, but one is burned out. I really only ran it with one 96 anyway.

The crazy part is that the bulb is 12,000K. It was originally for a salt tank.
