I hate to do it, because I love both of these fish. But the nitrates have been climbing as the fish grow, and they've officially hit 40ppm by water change day for the past two weeks. All my other tanks are pairs of catfish so I can't go moving them, and my Oscar tank is sacred so no questionable fish can go in there.

The other option is to switch out my 55g for the 75g. That's feeling more viable the more I think about it. Vote away!

I've already got the 75g. It's just going to be a PITA hauling it upstairs and ignoring my wife's complaints for a week and a half. But it's probably the right thing to do.
