Third spawn for Carpintis x SKKP with help

Started a new thread fore this since things keep getting interesting. This is the third spawn for these two, I already have fry from them that i'm raising. They have currently started spawning within the last twenty minutes and have a unwanted third partner this time. My smaller carpintis male about 4" caught on that they were about to spawn and now is taking every opportunity available to dart into the pot and squirt his stuff and leave then going back to hovering over the pot, watching until he gets another opportunity to jet back in there. It's quite funny to watch. I just hope he doesn't get hurt.

I have heard and watched a documentary on saltwater fish that have done something similar to this behavior. This is probably the craziest thing I've seen in all my years breeding.
