Okay so I've just about had it with this pond and finally I am turning to the brilliant minds at mfk. I have a pond roughly 125gal. Filter is a 55 gal drum with lava rocks. Was a mag drive 250gph and now is a 750gph quietone. Fish in this pond will stop eating and eventually grow what I assume looks to me like fungus or ich and die. This third time this is happening I happen to have my brood stock of tilapia :cry:BIG MISTAKE. N02 0, ph 6.0-6.7, ammonia 0, hardness 3.5dh. This is the third time it is happening and I've had this pond for a few years now. This is a cell phone picture of my fish. Its got the huge growth on the top of its lip and its got mouth rot and all that on its forehead I believe is fungus. Anyone have any answers, I sure need some quick.

Thanks for the reply. My test kits do not have N03 or I must've used it all. So overnight I have lost 1 fish so far out of the 10. I was reading the links and I seem to see some of those symptoms. The fungus seems to be all on the forhead and eyes/face area only on all of my fish. I am not sure but could it be parasites also? I am not sure if there are worms or just bile excreted by the fish. Also This is a pond. Got any suggestions on what i should do for the pond? Drain it and dry it out?

This isn't true fungus to me. PC was spot on with columnaris. Did you completely eliminate the ich already? I can't see any signs of ich but columnaris to me. Tetracycline is your best bet. It's more effective with your low pH.
