This a good trade??

I traded my 12'' niger catfish for a 5-6'' needlenose gar and 10-11'' fire eel. Do you guys personally think this is a good trade??

Fire eel goes for about twenty bucks here and the needlenose for 10 max. And i dont think i have ever seen a niger catfish for sale around here so i would say no.

Personally I would have kept the niger but like was said your fish. Not a fan of eels or gars but dig the catfish.

Ditto to all, as long as you are happy and the fish were of equal health....makes no difference.

Nigers get frickin HUGE!!! I would have just because I could keep the other two in a 125 besides a huge tank for one niger.
