An island somewhere......
I like it, the black and darker colors tend to make marbles darker so a lighter or more
natural tends to work better. IMO It looks to have an orange tint.
Now if it were black rays then definitely black substrate.

Here's a link to a 3M Colorquartz Crystal, I'm considering using the "6023 Tan–S Grade" to bring out the colors of the Motoro. Any comments or recommendations?

If anyone can post the actual page or the color swatch as a photo, I'd appreciate it. Not very good with the computer skills.

Wow, in that link to the tan sand, what is the fish in the 3rd pic, a type of eel? Very cool!

Does this 3M sand stick to the rays' slimecoat? Is it pretty fine and soft? Where do you buy it?

It is a fire eel and a huge one at that, the "s" grade does stick to them, look at some of my newer pictures, i am using black "t" grade, and it does not stick to them.

and i want that ray in your avatar, think we can arrange a trade? :D

are you getting it from a wholesaler? if so they can give you a sampler with every color. i've got "buff" which reminds me of beach-sand color. i think "smoke" is real nice also. If you like I can take a picture of my sampler, but don't know how the colors would turn out.
