Take a moment to watch this one. Now at least I know what's inside those machines and something about how to use one if necessary.

This only takes a minute to view... I honestly didn't know what to expect if I had opened the box!

We have all walked by the Red Cross sign in airports indicating where a heart machine is located. Do you know what is in them and how to use it? I did not. Try this video and see what you think.

If you pick the wrong choice---- the man dies---- choose wisely You may save a life. I Just watched this video and was impressed.

Good video to learn the basic steps. I'd have liked to see a demonstration of proper compressions on a dummy. This video, like most, shows simulated no-force compressions but on an adult 2" compression depth is pretty much the minimum, sometimes more depending on the person's girth.

Here's a decent video showing "hands only" CPR that shows proper compressions on a dummy. It doesn't include the AED portion, unfortunately.

Just took a red cross cpr/aed class last weekend. Kinda good stuff to know just incase. Good news is aeds are pretty foolproof even if someone hasnt ever seen one

We have had the AED units at work for a few years now and fortunately none have had to be used yet.

i am glad they are using the AED units more and more..so much more effective.. no matter how well you know CPR you do get tired.

Not to mention the CPR/rescue breathing techniques change slightly every few years.
