I purchased a 29 gallon marineland eclipse combo tank last week and it came with 18" quadbulb 96 watt lightning. Sunpaq retrofit I believe. I'm wondering if that is enough lighting for some hardy and beginner mushrooms or polyps? Or a dwarf anenmone? Thanks, I have knowledge of SW or Reefkeeping so bear with me.

should be fine lighting for an anemone depending on species and mushroom's really don't have a lighting requirement. Zoanthid's or Palythoa's are fine as well with the lighting although I would recommend them near the bottom or the tank since they really don't have a high lighting requirement.

Oh great thanks for the response. Will this be enough light for some of the easier/hardier of the hard corals? The Soft corals are the harder ones to keep right? And with the for the 29 gallon, I think I'm going to buy 25lbs of LR for it. Will that be enough? I'm not sure of the gallon-LR ratio?

well as far as hard coral's they are going to be the more challenging of the coral's to keep I would start with a nice soft coral to begin with and see how it work's out then read, and take your time before investing in any hard corals. I would do 30lbs of LR for your tank I alway's do about 2-3 pounds per gallon of live rock and 1 pound per gallon sand.
