this friday is gonna be 55 gallon day

This friday I am most likely getting a new 55 gallon fish tank. I am most definately putting in at least 6 dovii fry. As well as another catfish maybe another redtail, or I would love a giraffe nosed and a lungfish..but idk definately the dovii. I am gonna decorate the tank with lg. Rocks and some fake plant patches, as well as a sand bottom, and lots of bogwood..I hope it looks really good and I will post pics..as soon as I get it setup.

they are just looking out for the fish. If I were you, I would just stick with the Doviis and no cats or anything. Don't wanna overstock. What is the plan for them once they are all grown up?

exactly, the only way people will know that you are aware is if you specifically say so. you didn't say anything in your post about the 55 being a growout or anyting like that so people who may not have read your other posts may not know that you know a bigger tank will be required. oh and your username doesn't mean a thing. I've seen a lot of usernames with a specific type of fish in them and the person doesn't know squat about them.

anyway, all that said, hopefully you'll grow yourself up a nice looking male. are you trying to get a breeding pair or just a good looking male from the group? what will you be doing with the one(s) you keep? I've thought about setting up a 300 gallon stock tank and getting a dovii male or a pair to keep in it. I think I actually am going to do that when I move into a bigger place.
