I'm jealous of people in the areas where this hobby is popular.It seems fish keeping is non existent where I live.The only lfs I have around are saltwater mainly,besides petco and petsmart and their selection is horrible.The rarest fish I have personally seen were at the zoo lol.Any ads on craigslist are for 55 gallon tanks for 300 plus with a free oscar usually,and an emperor filter.I know Im not alone on here Im sure there are alot of members in small towns.Just frustrating lol

Yes, but you can catch fish there. Come to california then you can complain.

If I could have the classifieds of socal Id be much happier lol.But your right the fishing is awesome around here.Bass,crappie,sunfish,catfish.Cant complain about the fishing.

That sucks i'm sorry to hear it. As far as fish are concerned you can get them shipped to you. I know its more expensive but you at least get what you want, thats what i'm starting to do. And BTW your avatar absolutely rocks, thats my favorite movie of all time.

Its all good just venting.Ive yet to have fish shipped.I know its common practice now just haven't pulled the trigger,but I will hit up Rapps or Shark Aquarium in the future.Just wish I could see all these fish in person,rather than youtube.Thanks yea Jaws is my fave movie of all time as well.Blu ray comes out in august!

Yea but thats about 5 hours from me,would be cheaper to get a fish shipped when you add up gas.If I'm ever traveling Ill stop and look for a quality lfs.I don't travel very often though lol.I am gonna make a trip to Colorado Springs this summer.Looking forward to checking some out there or in Denver.If I can stay out of all the breweries lol.

Yea thats the route I will have to go as well it seems.Unless some new awesome store opens up.
