This idea facinates me.

I'm not connected to these people in any way, but i came across this and was like, wow, i kind of like this. On a big scale, it could be quite cool. Even this little tank intrigues me.

Much better: A tank with a huge sump full of pothos and a drip system. Bye bye water changes...

The reason that it is interesting is that it could, conceivably, on a large scale create a process of flushing out the tank bottom, under gravel, without the fear of drilling the bottom of the tank.

Having said that, i think that it would make a cool desktop piece if it was a little bigger.

This is true, but who has the space for an aquaponics set up.

Interesting idea but that's one pricey betta bowl.

agreed.

Something about it though scratches me where i itch, in terms of simplifying a desk top tank for the office.

Someday when I buy a house with a basement and a 300g+ tank I plan on under gravel jets and a drip system. Fkigure once every couple of months I will have to move some decor around to address a few dead spots but other than that the only maintenance will be cleaning glass and filtration.

This is an amazing concept though, its a shame they can't make different sizes (maybe up to a 20g)

Is that really necessary on such a small tank? Lol water changes on betta bowls take less than 2 minutes.

And i love doing tank maintenance!
