it is not so expensive for me . i can buy it !

If you like it, go for it. I like to grow them out myself, so I get them much smaller. I wouldn't spend more than $80 for it...that's just me.

I'd pay maybe $100 but I'd be skeptical.....why sell so big? Is he fertile?
I like raiding them too.

price is 50$ for me . it is good i think . i tested it . feeding and movement in water . all is good . he is 1 year old . your questions is good and Necessary i think for buying new flowerHorn Fish .

Any suggestions on how I can save my investment or prevent stress in your experience?

Saw the other thread hes new. Most fish stress when they're in new tanks because water parameters temps and so many factors may be different than where it was previously. I keep my FH at 80-86 depending if I'm grooming or breeding the fish.

Clean water and good filtration is all you need. Heck I run sponge filters and do water changes every week and my fish breed and blossom.

Try a tablespoon of sea salt or aquarium salt per five gallons of water. Helps with stress and parasites

It just got a whole lot better. started eating and everything. it looks skinny compared to some picture i see of other flowerhorns. it is 6" or so if you see pic. How big can this fish get?
