It has orange so no, it is not a true GT. But honestly it doesn't matter. Gold or Silver they both are beautiful.

It looks more like a blue acara to me, too. You have to be careful with LFS fish because it's likely that blue acaras and GTs will cross, resulting in mutt fish from fish farms.
