yours is one of the biggest I've ever seen but thats contrary to what I've reading everywhere saying that these guy's grow between 32'' and 39'' + in so whats up with that do they not reach size in captivity or are they longer lived and captives we'er seeing are still just babys ?????????? anyone?????
I think they just grow slower in captivity but i have a few that grow fast so maybe its each fish has a different max growth size?

P. endli. endli. are believed to reach about 30" in the wild (the 39" that you read is definitely not for endli. endli.). In captivity, probably around 24". But depending on the individual genes, diet, tank space, etc, typically expect 18"-24" in captivity.coreyweinkoetz;2057654; said:
