Hello everyone. His gar we feed them live fish. It is appropriate for the GAR pellets for trout? Kŕmite someone with these pellets?

Im not 100% positive on the pellets. I've never fed my gar pellet food, but from what i've heard you can train them to eat pellet food.

gar are cool, keeping them lean in the aquarium is difficult they tend to plump up real quick. Never kept them personally, but cool fish you got there.

just picked up my first gar on tuesday. its a 9" florida gar. they a cool fish for sure.

i have a group of 18 or more gar, i've lost count (floridas,gators,longnose,cuban)....Most all take floating pellets. This does not happen overnight! I've had some for about 5 years and they were the first to take the pellets. Throughout the past year the others have watched their friends and followed suit. I suggest keeping them with a fish that already eats pellets so they dont get wasted until the gar regularly accepts them. Be Patient. I do have a gator that has smashed pellets from the beginning so you might get lucky.
