Hi
I have just bought a new house, (it will be finished march next year)
and as a monster fish keeper, I of course ordered a reinforced floor!
So, now that the house is ordered, I am looking for my tank..
Over here all big tanks are made of acrylic, which is what I want, but the thickness is quite a bit thinner in what you guys have in the states.
For example:
2400x900x60 (8x3x2) is made of 15mm (0.6")
1800x900x60 (6x3x2) is made of 13mm (0.5") or 15mm (0.6")
When i spoke with the shop, they said that it was no problem and i shouldn't be worried, and I ain't , but my wife is..
The tanks have euro bracing with two additional braces on top
So, what do you think?
Can i go with this thickness or do i need to go up in thickness?
(possible but with a big price jump)
Any input much appreciated!
