So my cutteri is in breeding dress. You'd think I'd be happy right? I've been trying to get my cutteri to breed for the longest time.

Except the female cutteri isn't his mate.
He beat the ever loving hell out of my male nanolutea and took his mate.
The cutteri are only in there till I reseal and set up my 30 long.
As much as I feel I should be responsible and feed off the hybrid fry, I kinda wanna see what they turn out like, so I'll take the plan b procedure of grow out a few and get rid of the rest.

Are you going to sell off the fry? If not then you aren’t being irresponsible by raising the fry unless you ask purists.

I know just how hot debates between purists and hybridists get however this is mfk and I would like to believe that the members here are mature enough to not get the thread locked and purists will stay out of this thread when they realize this thread is about hybridizing.

Anyway, I think you chould cull most of them and keep one or two to see hoe they turn out. OF you could just remove his mate if you don't want the fry....

A simple fix would be to move this to the hybrid section if people start losing their minds over it.
