This is what happens!!!

Will guys. I woke up this morning walked in to my fish cave and find out power had gotten out and 95 % of my cichlids dead!!! ? Fuse tripped just in the garage where all my tanks are. Crazy thing is not a single fish died in my 500 gallon but total disaster in my other setup. I am so heartbroken I don’t where to start. Took all the dead fish out next looks like I need to empty all the water out and restart the process again ?.

You are right. I was think if the 500 gallon was the same result??! I might of just quit!!! It would of been my breaking point at that point. Seeing my 500 destroyed. I don’t even want to think about!!

How long was it before you noticed???? I would have thought there would be enough oxygen to last at least 12 hours. Sorry to hear that. Shame.

I noticed all the tanks are hooked up together and most died but the 500 is on its own and it was ok. Since it's a bit cold there should be enough oxygen in the water. Either way it sucks!
