Just wondering, is an FJ cruiser considered a truck?

Badass, thats a sweet ride mate! im hoping to get a landy in a few months, the amount of green lanes near my house is unreal. i can drive for hundreds of miles offroad.

the FJ is the new land rover. and its alot cheaper. land cruisers arent as cool. lol. if thats what you meant. but the FJ has all the bells and whistles for city and offroading. its a beast offroad. it weighs in at 5570 lbs so its a bit heavy, but that 4.0 V6 (even though its a bit small compared to the weight ratio) will bring the front tires off the road comming off the line. its insane. ive hit 100 mph on the freeway not even noticing it. cussing people out for "going slow" and i look down and im at 95 or 100... lol. "whoops!". and off road its unstoppable. ive gon into the mud to pull out my buddies jeep and it made it out. in 2 wd, its so fast on soft sand where it calls for 4x4 i just glide over all of it. i only use 4x4 in mud and in the water like in the pics above and when climbing. other than that you can just gun it through any soft stuff that would sink any other truck.

Mate you are one lucky sod to live in the states, im driving a 2.5 litre volvo at the moment and im 20, i was lucky to get insured on my bro's policy. I presume all the insurance companies and costs are pretty layed back there. seem to be a lot of youngsters driving monsters! landys are the only way i can really afford the insurance, otherwise i would love a jeep or anything with a 4 litre lump. keep up the pics, off roading is something im well into! :D

alot of kids around here have their parents buy them thier trucks... its rediculous. in fact my step brother is getting a brand new truck for graduation this year from his Grandparents....

dont think im like that. sure i have a Ford F150 that was given to me. but it needs work. ill have it running this summer. but for the FJ. i have a $530 payment and $150 insurence. thats $680 a month. i only make about $1400 a month. but then again i dont pay for food, housing, or anything else except a cell phone. its all provided by the Corps.

these kids driving $40,000 trucks around town is disgusting. i know for a fact theres no way they can afford them working fast food and being a bag boy at the grociery store.

but i dont really worry about it either. all i know is i earned my vehicle and im enjoying every minute behind the wheel!

actually i dont know if its a truck.. its classified as an OHV.. and on the window paper from the dealer it says its an SUV... but oh well... she still kicks ass.
