My Buenos Aires tetras decided to breed, which was great as I’ve never bred tetras before (even if they’re not the most special fish). A few managed to get into the overflow and survive, so I was just going to grow them out in there rather than set up a tank for them. Seemed like a good idea and the the 6 (or so) of them were doing quite well.
That was until someone else decided to pay them a visit…

Luckily 2 escaped (somehow) and joined their parents in the large school - hopefully they last.
I had to head out when I discovered it so I guess Godzilla’s on timeout in there for now.
I’ll have to cover up those holes with egg crate like I did on the other side so he doesn’t keep getting in there - hopefully tetra fry still find their way in.
Nice friendly reminder to all you who probably know this better than me - don’t trust a bichir.
