This little festae is a female, right??

Its got the black half of the dorsal fin, or so I think. And its getting really colorful. This pic is from 4 weeks ago, Ill get some newer ones up tonight or so. Out of 3 , 2 of them look like this and 1 is just a little different. All of them are 4-5'' so its about sexin time .

Thanks man, Like I said I have 2 like this and the other one must be a male. If it isnt my boy ewok was kind enough to hook me up with a verified male, but hes a good 2'' bigger and I dont really wanna throw these little gems in with that brute yet.

Man Im trying to get these things to grow but its sloooooow going. I threw some little v. synspilum in with 1 month ago and they were 1/3 the size of the festaes, now 1 of the viejas is nearly as big as the RTs.

My female had the blue speckling when she was younger. Be interesting to see more photos of the fish in question. It seems to have a lot of red around the mouth to be male. My male's face is mostly greenish in coloration.

Like I said this pic is from a month ago. Im gonna try to get more tonight. The faces of two of them, esp the dominant one are getting a brighter shade of orange,by the week, and the whole black front half of the dorsal fin on the same two is supposed to be another female trait. All 3 of them have the speckle thing going on. Im just so frustrated with these things slow growth. This will be like the 4th time Ive posted them here trying to determine their sexes.
