My 14" Temensis died today from wounds it got from my Emperor trio. The temensis was bigger than them and was chasing them around, but I guess they decided to turn the tables on it and joined forces and attacked my temensis. I heard the thrashing last night and when I went to check on it. I saw them attacking it furiously and it was alredy on the tank bottom and couldn't even swim to get away anymore. I tried nursing it back since last night and when I left for work this morning it was still alive. But when I got home from work.....:(:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Aghh that sucks Jed! ... Better take a break from cichla for a while...
and time to call your vietnamese friend and make a MFE thread part 3 !
 
Actually I called my Indonesian friend but he said he'll pass. Said he's too lazy to cook fish from scratch, but my wife's said to save it. Her friend saw my fish last time and said they looked tasty and would look good in a Korean Fish Stew. I doubt she can take pics as she doesn't have a digicam.
 
That really stinks =( This week looks like its been big on fish losses =\
