but how do you guys do it, waters changes and cleaning with jags. mine is only four inches at the moment and when i go to clean the tank, remove any algae or stir up the sand(wich really ticks him off) he will bite me non stop when trying to clean it. what do you guys do with fish like.

is there any way of dividing off the tank and put him into the opaset side of what you are cleaning then swap him over and then do the other side , when finished take the divider out and let him have his tank back .

When I had a jag like that, I just used the syphon to push her away before she bit me. If you are moving things, keep a net in one hand and brush her away with that.

see, my jag even attacks my python, i took the large thing off the end of it because of me having sand, he will bite the python and not let go. i tried the net but the jag is to fast for me

Lowe's can cut you a sheet of acrylic to your tank specs. I've got one I don't have to use as a divider to keep from getting bitten,, but it does come in really handy for netting fish.

I think you can buy dividers from fish places that just use suckers and a sheet of plastic so can move it arround to wherever you want it or you could just tap him gently with you hand as he comes to bite you its only a small fish thats what i did when i had my 18" giant gourami he use to try bite my hand when i was cleaning just tap him gently as he comes to bite you he'll soon swim away.

Yah use a tank divider or tank him out in some tank water...

i do have a ten gallon tank laying around that i could move him to just while i clean, but for the time that he would not be in the ten gallon tank how would i keep up my bb if its just an empty tank.
