lol, well I've kept a few over the years. I have the skeleton of one in front of me and working on the skull of another. I'd say I know this fish well.
No worries a gorgeous catfish, just much, much more common than a vulture. Hope he's not asking too much for that guy so he can find a nice home. Grows to 3' + if you'd like to give him some good info on selling it to a proper home. Most will likely not grow to more than 30" or so, but some can get over 3'. This is why I told you I always get pics of catfish before buying them. About 50% of catfish in petstores I've been to are not properly labeled. It's not knocking the owners at all though. They get every kind of fish and are not always able to double check IDs on hundreds if not thousands of species they get in. Catfish can be confusing with over 3000 species.
