i know between the two different ones i have meaning different sources my newer ones are more metallic than powder color,i have fry that are to young to tell what they will look like so.... that's all the info i can contribute. But I do have a question why is it that they are both EBJD but one is more intense? is it food, water source any ideas

Those are almost definitely contributing factors but I'd say for the most part its genetics.
 
I would agree... but what makes it interesting is variation of blue within a spawn.
Which is where genetics comes in. Not all of the fry will get the same genes, obviously, so some will show varying degrees of blue.
