This really pisses me off

I really love how state laws ban the possesion of piranha in some states. i understand states like south carolina georgia florida texas and cali and many others but up north there is no reason for you to not be able to house piranha. i live in Virginia and the law states that

piranha may be
popular catalog items, but they are included as predatory​

and undesirable in VAC 15-30-40
which is complete bs in the winters here the temp drops to a steady between 35 and 25 degrees for about 3-4 months now if u can tell me ANY piranha species with survive that your crazy there a tropical species and the whole thing about how they are harmful the humans is bs to

It has to do with your local representives and the general public's impression of such animals. Like you've never made a decision without knowing all the facts before?

It's unfortunete but everyone feels the same pain in every banned state

Even if Indiana banned them I wouldn't give up my P's, but I agree they should stop those jerks from dumping Piranhas and give them to me
But I know I wouldn't stop, I follow a lot of the laws but I'm not a child and at some point you have to decide for yourself how to live your life.

many parts of indiana they are banned .. i cannot have them in the city limits of south bend or mishawaka ..

all the "piranhas" that made it on the news are all stupid Pacus, I've yet to see any report of real piranhas being released into the wild...but I'm not always tracking such news...
what're even more stupid than those stupid Pacus are all the so call "experts" or scientists that ID'd them as piranhas, they should get banned from IDing fish from now on...
